Great Fitness Journal
THis is nice because Im able to keep everything in one book. I like that you get two books in one for the price, so the vaule of is pretty good considering that both books would be around 40-50 dollars. The page count is good, but I was hoping you get a little more than you do especially for the food journal aspect. The size is great can fit in a gym bag. The layout is easy to follow. The quality is a lot better than others.

First off my video has no sound… you may hear me breathing lolSo I love the feel of this journal I got the Rose Gold and I am very happy with the color, it matches my gym bag perfectly!Plenty of space for how i would use a fitness journal, if you need an actual planner, i recommend a bigger one. The little calendar is for more like – leg day, Cardio, rest … very simple things. You cannot plan your daily schedule on it. —I have a separate planner for that. —The daily log is my main reason for getting this journal. I like how it tracks my mood, satisfaction with work out, and my water intake. Some days you’re just no feeling it and that’s ok. It’s about the habit and showing up.*Changes I would like to see*- having it dated – even just the months written- the layout being (month over view, day tracker, meal planning.. repeat)- a section for meal planning explicitly.- optional section to include progress pictures, I know that is very motivating for some. You could cover the q&a sections with pictures 🤷🏼♀️- stickers were ok… the “watching my sugar – sticker is kinda depressing” I won’t be useing that. As someone who is borderline pre diabetic I have to watch my sugar and it doesn’t depress me. It’s a positive thing for my bodySo for the meal plan you can pre fill the meal section…. But if you decide to change it up, well there’s not a lot of room.I would use a pencil for the food section because I feel that will change frequently.Overall I am happy with my purchase and will try and update as I use it. Great value!

Great way to track your progress!
I wasn’t a proponent for a work out journal. However, I’m going on a big trip and want to look and feel better and I’m so bad with following a regiment. I got this to hold my self accountable and to be able to track my progress. I use the note section track my calorie intake and expenditure. It’s a great little “assistant”.

I have recently started Slimming World and taken a much more healthy approach to life, taking up swimming and making an effort to get my 10000 steps in each day. I wanted a journal to help keep track of my progress and to keep me on track. This journal by Clever Fox ticked all my boxes.When I ordered this, I wasn’t expecting just how premium it was going to be and how much product you are getting for your money. Surprisingly the book arrives in its own gift box which is printed with details about the journal, also included is an instruction manual of how to use the journal and 6 sheets of stickers. The journal is very high quality with a beautiful embossed cover and the pages are made from a thick gsm paper. There is an elasticated strap for keeping the book closed and a pen slot so you aren’t always searching for something to write with. Additionally are 3 ribbon bookmarks so you can quickly and easily locate the section of the journal you want.The journal is clearly laid out with sections to record meals, hydration and exercise. There are also pages set aside for reflection where you can input information on what you may have done differently etc. The section that I really like is the body measurement, because even though I’m losing weight, I personally can’t see it because of the gradual loss. This can reduce my self-esteem because in my mind I sometimes think I’m doing all of this and making these changes and nothing is different. By using the body measurement chart I have a record of where I was and where I am now and that boosts my confidence and helps keep me on track.At £24.99 this journal may sound expensive, but it’s way more than a book to keep records, for me it’s a source of motivation. Because of its premium packaging and design it also makes for a lovely gift.
