Excellent tasting, quite large, crunchy and chewy, satisfying
These protein bars are very tasty. With the white fudge outer-layer, I thought they might be too sweet. Delightfully, they had just a hint of sweetness. They were not too sugary. There is no high-fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners in these protein bars. Organic sugar cane and organic brown rice syrup are used to sweeten these protein bars. There are 17 total grams of sugars, from natural products, in each bar. Each mouthful is packed with satisfying flavor.The texture is crispy and crunchy but not crumbly. They are not sticky or gooey. The bars hold tight together. These bars are not messy to eat.This is a protein bar one could eat while driving—it holds together, it doesn’t make crumbs everywhere, and it will not make your fingers sticky, because of the white fudge outer coating. I mention eating it in a car, because when I was working full time, I was constantly on the go to and from appointments. I always ate my breakfast in my car on the way to my first appointment. Not all foods are conducive to eating while driving. These protein bars are.There are 20 grams of protein in each bar. They would be a great way to start the day or to eat after a rough workout to help muscles recover. These are definitely hunger satisfying protein bars.There are 6 bars in their re-closable box. The price breaks down to about $2.00 per bar. The bars are quite large. They are 5 1/4” long, 2 1/4” wide, and at least 1/2” in thickness. They are sturdy and will not just break apart or crumble until you break it. These bars have a firm consistency.They are the best tasting and satisfying protein bars that I have ever eaten. They are chewy and crunchy at the same time. They have a flavor similar to Oreo cookies, but not as sweet. There is a bit of a dry mouth feeling after each bite. They taste great with a cup of coffee, a glass of milk, or refreshing water. I think these protein bars taste best with a liquid because of the dry mouth feeling after chewing a bite.I did not eat this bar quickly. The flavor of each bite lingers for quite awhile and is satisfying. After eating an entire bar, I was completely satisfied without any hunger pangs for many hours.I recommend these protein bars to you. I think you will find them to be quite satisfying and delicious,

Great taste for a protein bar, but that’s largely because of added sugar
First, the good stuff: Made by Clif, so you know these are high quality protein bars. The texture has some of the grittiness of any similar protein bar, but it’s not as bad as some. And it tastes pretty good, taking on a sweet snack kids off profile, but that kind of leads to the bad.In order to make it more candy bar-like, the ingredients include 17 grams of added sugar. Soy protein isolate is the first ingredient, but the next three are cane syrup, cane sugar, and rice syrup. 20 grams of protein is good. Everyone is on such a protein kick that products are trying to one-up each other on protein content, but 20 grams is real a lot. It’s just that you have almost the exact same amount of added sugar.So while these may be a perfectly acceptable addition to your diet, be aware that it is a dessert-like item.

I was curious how this would land—protein bar + OREO + white fudge could either be really good or way too much. These Oreo CLIF builders have Great taste and texture!
These CLIF BUILDERS Protein Bars arrived in great shape and fortunately not melted in the summer heat. The box was in great shape as well as the expiration date. I had no qualms about eating them, and quite frankly, had they arrived in a squashed box I would not have hesitated to eat them either. CLIF builders is a reputable company and they are not going to jeopardize their reputation on shipping a sub par item or product. I happened to be getting a little hungry when these arrived, so I dug into these immediately upon arrival. And that relieved my hunger until dinner time. I was pleased to see that they are gluten free, non gmo, no artificial sweeteners, and high in protein. The bad part is they are loaded with salt, carbs and sugar. If you are into working out and need to replenish your sodium or have a little sugar pick me up, these would be a fine choice. The taste and texture is very good. With There being no artificial sweeteners, I appreciate that there was no aftertaste. I can honestly recommend this Oreo white fudge flavor!

Loaded with protein, odd taste
These Clif protein bars are jampacked full of protein. They are gluten-free and do not contain any artificial sweeteners. There is 280 cal in each bar and a fair amount of carbs but, if what you’re looking for is protein, you will get it with 20 g of protein per barThe flavor of this protein bar is a white fudge Oreo and I have to say I’m not a fan. The bar itself is quite large and thick and layered. It just does not taste good to me. I love Oreos so I thought I’d try this, but it has a strange chemically taste to me and the texture is really grainy. I just honestly do not like the taste.
