Fantastic Backpack!
I just received my backpack and I see why this is such a highly rated item! The quality is excellent and there are so many thoughtful features included. I don’t plan to travel with it until a couple of weeks from now, but I don’t think I’m going to find any fault with this bag, I think this is going to be a perfect travel companion!I love that it opens up like a suitcuase, SO much more convenient than losing everything in the black hole of a regular backpack. There are tons of pockets and thoughtful features that will make it easy to stay organized when travelling. I like that it’s also got a spot on the side for a water bottle, it’s so nice to be able to bring an empty bottle with you through security and then fill it up after you’re through that line rather than paying airport prices for beverages.The zippers are all smooth and have high quality pulls, this bag looks more expensive than it is and it comes in so many great colorways. The included packing cube and liquids container are also great quality and well made. I’m looking forward to travelling with this bag, I think using this as my personal item plus one carry on bag, I’ll be able to avoid checking a bag altogeher. Saving money and time at the airport is a win-win in my book!

This is a slightly different style (but very close!) to the Ebags travel backpack which I have used for years.We lovingly refer to these types of bags as overnighters, or 3 day travel bags as it gives ample space for your chargers, toiletries, and a dedicated slot for a computer and/or tablet. The sleeve is quite generousInside you will find a main compartment. The main compartment even has the same elastic hold downs to keep your shirts and pants in place folded (like a dress shirt or slacks). Included clear bag is great for toiletries for freshening up after a flight or a long day. a black bag is also included which I will be using for shoes and slippers (because I never shower in a hotel or walk around a hotel without slippers).Plenty of compartments make organization easy for battery packs, and other travel necessities. There is a chest strap to prevent heavy weight from hurting your shoulders by pulling them inward. A smaller outside pocket is perfect for passports and your boarding pass.External cinch straps help stabilize the load and prevent shifting. One thing I’ve noticed is that they tend to just go over to the edge of one side; they really should go across the whole surface, but very few makers do that.On the back there is a strap that helps hold this on top of any rolling luggage.Padding on the back is thin- This is not a pack you use for a 5 mile hike. Its important to note that any extra padding will either take away from the space it has or exceed the carry on sizing.Side pocket is good for a 32 oz nalgene bottle diameter size. There is no top strap to secure it, so if you bend over, it may fall out.All in all, this thing is less than half the cost (around 40) than the ebags, but provides the same features and quality.
