Where has this been all my life?
In my quest to fix my back troubles, I ran across a video about foam rollers so of course, I immediately searched Amazon and discovered a plethora of options! Not knowing what I was really doing, I chose a giant neon green wheel the first time, based on the hilarious positive reviews it received. I have no idea what they loved about that torturous piece of equipment, but I sent it back the next day. Next, I tried a black one. Remember, I didn’t really know what I was doing so I chose a color I wouldn’t mind laying around my living room. I could’ve just as well bought a piece of pvc pipe because that sucker was HARD. Little did I know that they were color coded and that’s how it was supposed to be. Back it went too. I mentioned this to my physical therapist who then showed me some options and one of them was this one. Feeling a little like Goldilocks at this point, I really hoped it would be the one and it sure is!The grey foam is a nice texture that is not too hard, not too soft…just right for a beginner foam roller. You can start off rolling with a side that has bigger grid pattern that is less aggressive and then work your way up to the side that has the smaller grid. The smaller grid is awesome! You can really get the kinks worked out with that side! I loved it so much, I asked the physical therapist for more ideas on how to use it and I am now doing calves, thighs, butt, shoulders, and I end with my back after twisting around to do all the rest. It is like having a full body massage without leaving your living room!I highly recommend the TriggerPoint Core foam roller! I’d have to say it’s possibly the best $30-some bucks I’ve spent on myself!

This is how I roll.
[Reference: cross-train daily, pilates, yoga, ballet, pole, 20+ hours per week, professional athlete]I take it with me to the studio everyday. Effective for loosening stiffness, reducing soreness, and relieving pain before and after training. Firm enough for my whole body but soft enough for my tender spots. The size is perfect for travel. It’s a great gift for an athlete or yourself. And a perfect starter if it’s your first time rolling out.

Perfect for Muscle Recovery & Tension Relief!
I’ve been using this TriggerPoint CORE Foam Roller for a few weeks now, and it has made a huge difference in my post-workout recovery. The softer compression is great for beginners or those who don’t want an ultra-firm roller. It helps release muscle tightness, improve circulation, and reduce soreness, especially in my back, legs, and shoulders.✅ Pros:✔ Perfect firmness – Not too hard, not too soft. Ideal for muscle relief without excessive discomfort.✔ Great for beginners & pros – If you’re new to foam rolling, this is a great starting point.✔ Durable & high-quality – Feels sturdy and holds up even with daily use.✔ Multiple size options – I got the 18”, but the 36” would be great for full-body rolling.⚠ Cons:• May not be firm enough for those who prefer deep, intense pressure.• A bit pricey compared to generic foam rollers, but worth it for the quality.Overall, this is an amazing tool for anyone dealing with muscle pain, tightness, or recovery needs. Highly recommend for fitness enthusiasts, athletes, or anyone who wants better mobility and less muscle tension! 🚀

My husband wanted it. I didn’t think it would actually work well. I was wrong. Not as comfortable but very effective with cracking the back. Very lightweight and Back feels good after using it.

Miracle worker!
My bf had gotten us a foam roller previously that was so hard and aggressive I couldn’t handle it. Having spinal stenosis, bulging discs, hip issues, full body arthritis, ehlers danlos syndrome and being a cyclist and hiker, I really really needed a better option. This foam roller was recommended online by a few fitness people and I decided to give it a shot. It is glorious! It’s firm enough to roll you out but gentle enough that you aren’t in active pain from the roller itself. It always provides relief and can crack my back, plus after cycling or hell, even just a long day at work, rolling out my muscles is sweet relief. If you have a lot of joint/muscle issues like me, I can’t recommend this enough. I even told my bf when we go bikepacking, I want to get the smaller version to bring with us to help me out trips!

So-so
I don’t feel the pressure point allure. I bought the 17″ or 18″ and I’m a small-medium person, and it’s too narrow. If you have back problems, don’t try and use this on tile because the foam roller slips out from under you. I almost hit the back of my head! If you like the abuse of a deep tissue massage, don’t buy the soft foam roller. By a firm and dense one. OPTP is another brand I bought, 36″ one, and I recommend much more. There are also other exercises you can do on the longer one. I’m be keeping this at my summer home, so I don’t have to drag my other, larger one back and forth. For first timers, this softer one is good, but I still recommend getting the longest one you can afford to buy.
