    Exactly what I needed…
This book is exactly what I’ve been looking for. It explains the “how’s” & “why’s” and does all the planning for you. It’s perfect, especially for a beginner.

Great starting place, easy to follow
I am so thrilled that I found this book. I used to be in better shape but the last year and a half I have been battling some health challenges and surgeries. Now, on the mend, I want to get back to where I was. But feel too weak to resume my favorite yoga class. I just started this 12 week program. I’m planning to do it in 14 weeks because I want to add on the optional prep weeks. I want to build back slowly. I am very excited about the layout of this book and the progression towards more difficulty. I expect great results. My preteen children are interested in participating with me as well.

    Exactly what I wanted
I’m five weeks in on the program and love it. Each exercise is the right amount of doable and challenge and the instructions and set-up make it easy to do the exercises correctly. My body is definitely getting stronger and I love the tracking system. The way it’s laid out means and the variety of exercises mean I’ll be using this book for years.

    Just what I needed!
Being new to a weight routine, I found myself very confused about where to start. This book is excellent! It provides illustrations for all exercises as well as a 12-week plan that is very easy to follow! It has cleared up my confusion and has given me a straightforward plan. I’m very glad I purchased this book!

    Great book for women
I really like this book. Daily exercises and great pictures showing each exercise. This is at your own pace and commitment. I open the book each evening and follow along. Sure, you may not hit it as hard as in a gym, but between my weights and bowflex, this adds to my routine. I think the hard part for me was knowing which exercises improved which muscle group. This takes guessing out of the equation. I have already adjusted some exercises to take into account my knee issue and shoulder surgery recovery. I love that the book is spiral bound. You wont have to use a weight to hold a page open. I think this is a great book for at home workouts.

Quality, Doable for all ages, pricey
I love the photos, explanations, the spiral, and the thick pages. I am 63 and not in great shape, it is doable. However, the price is high; try to buy used.

    High quality book!
I’m very happy that I purchased this. The book itself is high quality and spiral bound which makes it easy to keep open when you are working out. I’m only on week two but the exercises so far are very doable and the author says to focus on the muscles that you are working on. When I do this and use the heaviest weight that I can while keeping proper form, I really feel the muscles that I am working. I recommend this book!
